The case of Israel, with its colonisation and apartheid politics, is fundamentally different. It has a different history, different geographical situation and different economic & military interdependencies – not to mention its very specific worldwide practices of cultural and ideological representation. However, there are good reasons for a politics of boycott, divestment and sanctions against the state of Israel.
